foghorn
Hi Chaps, I have read the replies with great interest, lots of advice and its seems many are experiencing the same problem i me. Well add a little fuel to the fire, i was out ferreting yesterday, the horsey lady reported 100s of rabbits on her 2 1/2 acres!. Three rabbits accounted for, one missed !, not quite the 100s, but job done. In one corner of the field, which is next to a OSR field pigeons continued throughout the morning to drop onto one particular Oak tree ( their sitty tree ) the weather was thick fog but they just kept coming, ( they couldnt see us in the fog ) trying to land ready to drop onto the rape. So my conclusion you must be in the right place at the right time, not always easy if your permission is only occasional fields. The pigeons are about but are concentrated in certain areas only. Unfortunately for me the pigeons on my permission are on a winter break.
