Ruger M77 MKII VT

Recommended Posts

Right, well as I've been granted .270 for fox & deer it seems my need for a 22-250 has now gone and I can't justify keeping the rifle. Truly sad to see it go as it is a cracker. Was bought from Eyefor off this forum a few month ago and since then has been only used a handful of times ... 7 shots fired. It has however had a bit of a facelift since being bought, hogue overmould stock in black with a bipod and sling. The bipod is a bit of a botch job taken off my 10/22.

Bit more info about the rifle .. Copied off the original thread

"Stainless heavy barrel, threaded 5/8" unvf (24tpi) and laminate stock. Two stage fully adjustable trigger (to 18oz) and three stage safety.

Overall the gun is 9.5/10 condition, recently recrowned (when rethreaded from 1/2") and bore scoped by gunsmith and declared to be in "very good condition".

The gun is always cleaned after every outing - whether one shot or five have been taken - and stored, moderator off, muzzle down. Cleaning is always full rodding with patches (not just bore snaked) and before putting it away I put one last patch through with gun oil - which I then bore snake clean before going out. (This has carried on since I bought it)

One holes home loads at 100 yards and sub 1" at 200.

Comes with two sets of Ruger stainless rings (1" and 30mm), "

Scope seen in the photos isn't included as promised this to a friend.

So looking for about £500 but open to offers, also have a spare slot for .17HMR if anyone wanted to work out a swap.

Happy Hunting Karl
