blondie1973
Hi all, I'm planning shooting again next tuesday at first light, Spent yesterday sitting in the hide (had a couple of shots at a couple of pheasants) but no pigeons, they didn't seem interested in the decoys (not helped by the battery on the rotary being flat), Will i have more luck starting at first light instead of 9ish ? am shooting over turnips ? Do any of you guys have off days (only been shooting pigeons for about 6 months) and so far have had a reasonable size bag each time ?? steve
proTOM1
We all have off days yes you will never get it right every time but there are things we can do to help . Fist light is best this time of year for me but only if the birds are where you are! Remember not to over shoot the area as you will push the birds away if its shot to much ,for me plenty of reccon this time of year is very important Edited January 19, 2011 by proTOM1
