Spara Dritto
I brought camellia oil to keep my carbon steel knives free of corrosion a little wipe over with camelia oil has done the trick with no problem in years. I have gun oil but was worndring if camellia oil would be better? it says on the bottle: Camellia oil has been used for centuries to protect samurai swords from rusting, the most effective oil pof the protection and care of your tools, apply a small amount to prevent corrosion. camellia oil is non toxic and non allergenic, a smallamount applied to your tools will keep them free of corrosion and rust. ingredients: liquid parriffin, natural camellia oil, colouring yellow anyone have some deffinate answers, its 15 quid a bottle (not cheap!) and still have 4/5ths left as i only need a minute amount of the carbon steel to protect it! carbon steel is obviously very soft and they say use this oil as it wont pitt the blade, so its deffinatly not going to pit the gun! your comments would be good! cheers, Tom Edited February 6, 2011 by Beretta Italy

apache
I got some from Axminster and it does keep the rust of my tools in the shed. Never thought of using it on the gun. It's quite thin?
