stevelee24
Has anyone on here used one i here the ejector pin has problems although on later models its meant to be fixed. Looks a good little gun shame its 3 times the price here that it is in the US.
lineshooter
This type of gun seems very popular at the moment, a tactical 10-22 and also one from Remmington. The Sig552 looks good and is supposed to be very accurate, but I do like the look of the Hk 416. All .22 cheap to run and rapid fire fun. Rem223
I haven't used one but have sold a few. Not really my cup of tea. In Canada they are classed as "restricted" meaning they can only be used at an approved range unlike the 10-22 version which is unrestricted. There is also an issue in Canada over the magazines. They are interchangeable with the handgun version, but handguns in Canada are limited to ten rounds. The rifle mags are 25 rounds and so the government has had to classify them as prohibited (just the mags ) but lots of people have brought the rifles prior to this so they now own a prohibited gun! Very embarrasing for the authorities. As for the firing pin issue I don't honestly know, but when we had a batch of them in our shop one customer insisted on buying a specific serial number (presumably a later one) as they were supposed to be better. ?Though I doubt in Britain you would have anything other than Hobson's choice. Since I doubt many are impoted.
lineshooter
Yeah nice gun, someone on another forum I`m one has one, waited a while for it though. I know what you mean about the $ price though, was in the US last year and stuff was so cheap but I suppose it`s in proportion to their cost of living etc. I suppose if we had a few million firearms holders over here, gun stuff prices might be cheaper. fatcatsimba
Had mine for about 8 months. no problems, great little semi, happy with sub and HV ammo (CCI and Eley). Reasonably accurate now the trigger assembly has bedded in. My kids and I love it. Very easy to breakdown for cleaning. However, I would imagine the 25 rnd mag gets in the way in field use although the copious amounts of weaver rails readily suit lights etc.
