cockatoo
Hi can anyone tell me how to calibrate a mark 1 ferret finder. Any info or who can do them thanks fran
feaks
Put the box at a set distance over the collar, say 2ft, move the dial till you get the faintest of clicks and mark it on the dial as 2. You will find it easier to put some sort of sticker over the wheel and mark your own numbers from 6inches to whatever its max. Its abit like putting your own marks on a paralax wheel of a scope. feaks
Oh, doesn't sound that good then. Obviously put new batteries in both units and if thats no good see if you can try the box on someone elses collar. Might be a case of scrapping it and getting a new one. Believe people buy defunct units on the bay.
