Posted February 20, 2011 Report Share Posted February 20, 2011 As we have had one of best seasons ferretting longnetting etc we still on the same ground that we have spent most of the last two months working . We returned to area we caught 30ish only two sundays ago a deep sandy bank with a lilac hedge preventing purse netting so run a 200 yard longnet with some purse nets doing the odd hole on the outside. It was slow at first as the rabbits where hole hoping instead of running for cover but we finnished with another 15 not bad considering we had ferretted it already. The only dig of the day and nealry the only dig of the season. Same dig The final bag showing the longnet encompassing the lilac hedge.
