Riothedog
Just thought I'd let you lot know, I've got a HW60J Weihrauch rifle in .17hmr. I picked up 500 rounds of CCI 20g game point ammo and it won't load into the chamber. The issue is that when pushing the bolt forwards, it picks up the round and pushes it forwards towards the chamber. Then the tip of the bullet - this is hollow nose - catches on the bottom lip of the chamber and it won't go in. First thing it does is deform the bullet. Accuracy is ******** then! Then you start to mess about, in the dark, trying to free the round and get the point of the round pointing at the chamber. Rabbits running the general direction of 'Away'... When it does load, it goes bang but I haven't got the time to be messing around. Ah well, back to 17g ballistic tip! Gemini
If it’s a metal magazine then you could try pushing the lips in/out a fraction. This should make the cartridge line up better. G.M.
Riothedog
The magazine is made of metal but I can't see how it can be modified. When leaving the mag it doesn't push up far enough. Another mm would make all the difference but then it would probably interfere with the bolt. Back to VMAX. D
