just my opion, but Id say catch and humainly dispatch, otherwise its as bad as the RSPCA, releasing animals back into unknown enviroment/other foxes terratory,

same I did'nt read this yesterday, as I came to norwich this morning, and have traps

i do agree with you about dispatch , but im in two minds really . killing it just because i caught it doesnt seam right , but releaseing in a strange place must be a huge blow to it too . dont gett me wrong , i know all the pros and cons , and never kill for fun , but it is a catch 22 for me .

cheers anyway for thought

adi

dont catch it then, walk away from the job, "a huge blow to it", is a bit of an understatement, uneccessary suffering is what would be caused by releasing it in unfamiliar surroundings

Are you sre its a fox? Badgers like to dig up gardens.

Try putting it off with nets of human hair for a hairdressers, works for the chickens (with the odd but of urine when im out in the garden and need the loo)

yes , its charlie .

been known to walk through in daylight so ive now been informed , so dispatch would be the only way if he is not wild savvy .

but will get my mate to pee all around the borders , if only to get him in schtuck with his mrs !
