bingo_beans
Unexpectedly For Sale. Air Arms S410 carbine right hand walnut thumbhole stock in .22 Purchased by me June last year 2005. This model has the in-line style filler (not the newer 90 degree one) and no safety. (I had a .177 classic with the new style filler and the after-thought safety and personally much prefer the older in-line/no safety catch versions). It has the gold-coloured trigger. Rifle alone was £611 new, I have the original ticket. Comes with Logun silencer and spare mag. Total cost round about £700 mark. It has shot about 200 pellets. Tiny mark on underside of foreend and 2nd tiny mark on outside of butt. You need to look very carefully to see either of these but it is worth pointing out. No studs, I just cant bring myself to drill the woodwork! The woodwork itself is a very attractive walnut in a lovely shade. It would stand out as the most attractive in a rack of twenty (I think . You can see the shade/grain in comparison to the Daystate in the attachment.). I'm selling it unexpectedly because I have fallen in love with my new Daystate X2 sport walnut (I like nice woodwork) and the Air Arms is really surplus to requirements so I want to pass it on for someone else to enjoy and put the funds towards the Daystate. The scope in the picture is not included in the price. Its an AGS Elite, SWAT, 3-12x44 mildot and is still attached for trial. I was intending to use it to replace the Bushnell that is temporarily on the Daystate but will be happy to look at offers for the AGS Elite as well either with the rifle or once the rifle has been sold. I hope I've answered all the questions. I'm in Poole, Dorset but am travelling to the Midlands fairly frequently at the moment and would much prefer a face-to-face deal. Asking price £450. bingo_beans
Hi Rob, Yes its a Daystate X2 sports (walnut). It is deceiving in print as it is a very slender stock, just right for me I have found out. I have fairly small hands so it fits a treat and you can only shoot one gun at once! Its also a couple of inches shorter so I can vertically carry with the weight on my shoulder with no danger of muzzle contacting the ground. I have to carry the S410 horizontally with both hands..... The weight is surprisingly similar. The S410 has a ASG 3-12x44 swat elite scope and the Daystate temporarily a Bushnell Banner 4-12x40AO (good value scope). The S410 weighs in at about 3.8kg and the Daystate 3.75kg. Surprised me too...
