col1888
Hi I currently have 200 acres of permission and have a shotgun and .22lr. Have had a vacant slot for .17HMR since i got my FAC. Well today i went to look at, and then bought an 2009 CZ452 American with scope and mod. Got home and put rifle in cabinet, decided to take dog for a walk. Passed a farm on my way back, at which i had previously asked for permission. He told me a year ago he had someone shooting his land. Waved and said hello, then i asked " Have you still got someone shooting ?" "Well, no !" the farmer replied. So after a long conversation, i now potentially have another 500acres. He is just making sure his missus is ok with it ! What a day ! Just proves that its always worth asking ! Land has been cleared previously for .22lr , he wasn't sure about .17HMR. Anyone think i should have any problems with this ? Col
Luckyshot
If its cleared for 22rf it should be ok for 17hmr as its a smaller calibre but best to check with your flo to make sure.
