Mickthemiller
HI This is a list of date numbers for Mitoku and browning, if your gun has not got a seriral number with letters I would contact the Browning website and ask their advice Miroku Codes You might like to add the Browning/Miroku serial number date code. It's two letters in the serial number (usually at the end): Z=1; Y=2, X=3, W=4, V=5; T=6; R=7; P=8, N=9, M=0. Thus, a gun with PN in the serial number was made in 1989. On some (in fact, I think most) Baikals the first two digits of the serial numbers are the year of manufacture. That was certainly true up to 1999. Hope this helps Mick
Jim K
My Winchester model 94 has a serial number of 00001ZR94K. Is this the first one off the line in 2017?
