How's that for service?

Had a nice day planned on some linseed until fate intervened. First shot of the day and gun jammed, managed to open it, loaded again, and jammed again. Nightmare. Finally managed to get it open and extract cartridges. Took it to a nearby gunsmith, leaving all my gear in the field, and he told me it was serious, a connecting rod in the action which "could be welded but may not work, and you can't get spares for these....so if it fails it could be a scrapper.." Slightly horrified at this I called the gun shop I got it from and arranged to take it in. Two hours later, sheared off screw taken out and replaced, gun back working, and they even cleaned my barrels for me. No charge and they even made me a cup of tea while I waited. Not sure if I am allowed to mention the name of the shop but the service was first class, as it always has been from them. Oh, and I was back in the field later in the afternoon - still didn't shoot anything!
