callemin
Just wondering if there is any one out there could help me get some muntjack stalking. I have never realy have had much problem getting stalking and shooting but being from yorkshire we don't have any real muntjack populations in the county. I am for ever reading how distructive they can be on blue bell woodland and crops ,game bird feeders etc.. and how they are the scurge of the rose gardener. But not being from the aria's they inhabbit i'm a bit stuck on how to get my foot in the door (so to speak). Now europeans are paying big money for trophy class deer they have pushed prices up for one and all, but i'm not realy interested in trophy deer just cull stalking. So if any of you good people know a farmer who is suffering damage with feeders or crops/ tree's , i would be gratefull if you could point me in the right direction. I'm not to botherd about traveling up to 3 hours ish. there's always a good B&B or pub to stay in over night. Any help would be most appreciated. the pelt man
There is only one person out there that will help you, YOU. If you realy want to stalk Munc's jump in your car drive up to three hours to Monkey country find one of those lovely B&B's & do some door knocking at Farms that look like they have good habitat & you might be lucky. there is no one here that can wave a magic wand & say go to farmer blogs in Baldock Herts he wants Monkey's shot. Also have you said what EX you have in Deer stalking, what rifle you have & if you are insured. I put in the Ground work & now have very good Monkey shoots with a couple coming through word of mouth from Farmers to others. So come on out your chair & into the Car. Let us know how you get on.
