rectifier
Hi All! Bought an armex x10 avenger off here, the scope it came with has got a missing and busted off 'left + right' adjustment part. This was either bust off by the courier who it looked like had thrown the parcel around a bit or it was like that before it arrived, i have no idea, lovely gun though! Anyway, so ive got to get a new scope and was looking for something similiar or better and was hoping for some advice. This is the one it came with : LEAPERS 6-24x50 AO - pic of busted bit http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/805/img1607cq.jpg/ The one im looking to replace it with is a : HAWKE Varmint 8-32x44 from my local Portsmouth Gun Centre for £140 Does anyone have any advice on the quality comparison of these scopes? New scope they want £140 for it and will fit and zero it in for me which seems good of them. Cheers Steve Edited May 9, 2011 by rectifier
rectifier
Well, I contacted Leapers and they said the scope is over 10 years old and as that bit is bust off all the nitrogen wouldve escaped. So, in answer to my question, any scope is probably better than the one I have, and as for a comparable one I wouldve thought in this case the one from Portsmouth Guns will blow my scope away!
