Tiger955i
HI Mate Yes the HW80 will fit in the HW77 stock but it is by no means a 1 for 1 swap. My 80 sits in a 77 stock. This was done, badly, before I got it and I had a bit of sorting but now it is really nice to use. If you are handy and the 77 stock is fairly cheap I would say go for it. Where are you based? Tiger955i
HI Mate there is some chiseling to do but not too much. The forend screws are in slightly different positions so you have to fill the original ones and drill new ones, I made small brass inserts from gas fitting blanking for these. P.m. me your email address and I will take some pictures and email them to you later in the week. Unless it is knackered keep the 80 as you wont get what its worth as anyone who buys an action only will want it for spares or to tinker with and will pay accordingly. I will take it for the price of the postage Where is the stock broken and how did it get broken? ATB
