Auto feeder's

Recommended Posts

Evening all,

Has anyone attempted to make automatic duck/game feeders. I fancied trying to make some for this year too see if they get pinched or not then im not loosing alot of cash.

Thanks!

Yep, Only need a timer circuit, a motor and a spinning disc. I used These for the timer made the rest out of bits of scrap. I recon I could get them down to £20 in parts maybe less. Just takes up your own time making them!

Just uprated the transistors and ran the motors straight through. All runs from 6v lead acid batteries. As for the programming, If you are from a tech/electronic background then its easy, if not then the kits are educational for secondry school students, just spend some time and work it out.

I fitted some light dependent resistors to start the first feed at dawn then programmed a timer for the next feeds.

But you can do it whichever way you want really
