nelson5050
Hello All, I am new to shooting and have now decided to go for the Browning Medalist as my first gun. I know there are mixed views on this gun but i dont need any recommendation which gun I should buy instead (just saying this to avoid wasting the time of well meaning posters ) but actually need someone to tell me where I can buy it brand new. I have been searching the internet and can't find any info on which gun dealers would sell the gun. Any info is appreciated.

HDAV
Or buy a FAIR that's who made them better guns available IMO Winchester spring to mind ( the 101) for similar money or buy miroku MK38 are great vfm, what ever you buy make sure it fits, far more important than who made it! Hardwoods Green
The Medalist was actually made by FIAS( Sabatti) in Italy. These have been discontinued for 6 or 7 years now( maybe more) my advice would be a 'proper' Browning like a 325/425 or Miroku 7000. Older style Winchester 101's or 5500 are also great guns. It all comes down to fit and budget though. If you're buying a Beretta get an older one, much better made.
HDAV
The Medalist was actually made by FIAS( Sabatti) in Italy. I knew FAIR was wrong! They make the Lincoln and a few others. I agree though have shot a medalist and it's as much a browning as a baikal!
