Uncle Albert
On the look out for a 4x4. Used tyo have an old series 2 lwb Landy. Great fun and would go anywhere. Was looking at a Freelander on a 53 plate the other week. Couldn't work out why it was only 4K. It had only done 50K. After researching on the net the general opinion was the engines had a habbit of going bang at about 60 - 70K. Ta-Ta says I. Pity cause it looked quite good. Any thoughts? I want it as my main car and to get around the fields to the shoots. Maybe look at Jimney. Edited July 14, 2011 by Uncle Albert
mrwabbits
Freelanders love to overheat and go boom ... costly repair bills . Seek something better / Jimneys are good , and wont get stuck in the same tracks others have left behind -- different footprint -- get some good tyres fitted (not road biased) , an you`ll go anywhere
