Woodcock Magnet
Weldone to you lads and ladies who had fun and raised a large amount of cash for charity as I have just read in the BASC MAG,AND, please read Sporting Gun letters page it says if you swallow steel shot it can be very harmfull if you have to have an MRI scan. AND check out either Shooting Times Mag or Sporting Gun Mag that particles from Tungston on bullets??? can be very bad for you too, hope I've got my facts right??? I still maintain there is no proof that wildfowl have ever injested LEAD SHOT or injested any while dabbling but thats just my opinion anyway. :exclamation:

You just have to know where to look.
David BASC
Re steel shot...read nhs web ,site re steel...low risk, may warm up and move a bit,but will not shoot out of the body. Only big risk is if you have steel splinters in your eyes, if that is a possibility, then tell them and you will be get a xray to check it out Given how many people in the USA who have eaten game with steel,if there was a real problem, don't you think we would have heard about it by now.
