RELOADING LESSONS

Recommended Posts

Now what is really sad is I would love to be able to re-load as I love the idea of making the best round I could. I am sure I could get a CF on ticket but I simply cant justifie the cost and i dont know if I would have enough use for it !

So for me what would be ideal would be to find someone who whould let me help reload for them and in return i would be happy with a brew and general shooting help / advice !

Just such a shame you cant home load HMR ! lol

You can. Get yourself a .17 Fireball or .22 Hornet which will do a much better job at a similar cost. :good:

You will find that you fall back on the rimfire when things get busy though. Making up 200 rounds of home loads just to go out and fire them can be a bit too much effort unless you have a progressive press, at which point you're not saving money unless you fire thousands of rounds.

the hornet is currently the devil sat on my shoulder with its fork telling me to go for it currently !

But right now my fire arms depatmant is so busy that they dont answer the phone and my FLO is also on holiday so if i send in paperwork now I think i would be looking at a 6 + month wait ! So am going to wait for quieter times !

hopefully after christmas ! and the rifles arnt exactly 10 a penny either !

:good:
