Oops Missed Again
My old battery charger is on the blink so it's time for a new one so I can charge the magnet and flapper batteries Has anyone got any views on the modern intelligent chargers/conditioners or is it another marketing ploy Edited August 11, 2011 by Oops Missed Again

Oops Missed Again
Cheers that one is certainly cheap enough. I have just been looking at Optimate 4 chargers and there are 40-60 quid

Redditch
They are very good, but are really something that is designed for NICAD, or NIMH batteries, as these tend to have memory problems (Especially NICAD) I did however manage to get a good intelligent charger from ALDI, does all types of lead battery, liquid, gel, and another type too, has three settings Setting one goes from 0,2 a/h to 14 a/h, and 2 goes from 14 a/h to 120 a/h, with setting 3 being the same as 2, but for cold conditions (Deepest winter). It only does 12 volt, but I manage to charge my two 7 a/h 6 volt batteries by coupling them together to make one 12 volt while charging. Only cost £ 20.00 too Edited August 14, 2011 by Redditch
