butcherboy
I went last year & will go for a day this year too. The show is over a couple of rings so get a programme to check out whats where. If your into chainsaw work your in luck, theres millions of it. very talented lads just not really my thing. If you can get someone else to drive then do, the food & drink section is excellent. They had a beer festival on last year which was great
lspencer
Not driving sounds like a plan then Dont really think the chainsaw carving will really appeal to me but you never know. Are there a good selection of stalls? Thanks Lawrence
Wildfowler12
It's brilliant, I'd say it's the biggest and best in Cheshire. Plenty of stalls and if you brave the bank holiday your sure to get some bargains as there all packing up

alexf
Did anyone go today? Any good? Thinking of going tomorrow anything useful worth taking?
togger
Yep, I made the trip. To be honest I wasn't that impressed. Lots of food stalls, a few clothing stalls mostly all selling the same stuff and a few beer tents. The displays were let down with the weather conditions, it rained heavily most of the afternoon. First time I've been to this show, don't think I'd go again.
alexf
Thanks for the info. Think were still going to go just for something to do? Is it like the recent Cheshire game and angling fair?
Wildfowler12
Another good show today, I was particularly impressed with the 'horse and chariot' VS 'Izuzu Trooper' races.
lspencer
Visited this show on sunday, found it to have a poor selection of stalls. Mostly food & beverage stalls. Highlight of the day was the cheshire hawking club display! Some excellent performances and some lovely birds!!!
