Merlin64
Had a good day on Rape stubble today , some great testing shots . Pigeons were lively like jinking snipe , twisting and turning. Magic ! Used my flapper to pull birds from nearby fields . Just got a rotary delivered when I got home , boy is it heavy , as if we have enough clobber to carry !!!Never used one before it looks a bit scarey like !!! I will give it ago soon and if I dont like it , I will put it back on e-bay again.
caeser
You never know when you may be glad of a rotary, sometimes they are invaluable. Although you're right about having to carry all that weight. This time of year its great though because I can just drive to where I'm gonna shoot. Yes I have got it out the box and will charge the battery . It came with zero instructions . The holders have a straight bar with a V shape spring bar bolted onto that. I presume you bush the bird onto the spring ? The ground I have been on has been rock hard , any tips for getting those huge prongs into the ground ? Thanks
