crowcaller Posted August 25, 2011 Report Share Posted August 25, 2011 after looking at a few rape stubbles, and nothing on them , looked at wheat stubble near home found some birds feeding , set up on a hedge line and after only 4 birds came in to deeks only 1 got away .seen birds landing on far side of field near the road, set up at the base of a telegrafe post deeks in front and flapper to one side , had birds in straight away it was steady for twoand a half hours with some good birds taken and some easy birds missed.enjoyed the 20 bore and found no differance in range as i norm.use a 12. picked 48 and lost 6 in wood over a road and in standing corn .
