im after a fenman profile as they are my favourite airguns and have been for years, a few years back i saved up the cash to buy one only to be told theoben had discontinued them, i looked all over for one second hand but eventually gave up and bought a normal fenman instead, i really loved the fenman but always felt abit gutted when i saw pics of the profile,

has anyone on here owned on and what difference does the profile stock make to the gun?? is it purely for looks or has the handling been improved over the stock fenman?

also anybody know where i might be able to find one for sale as im not gonna settle for any other gun this time.

any calibre or condition considered.....cheers

having owned one and shot one, i can honestly say it makes absolutly ZERO difference to the feel or the handling of the fenman.

All the profiel stock does is turn a standard rifle into something that looks very different, as far as im aware its the only spring/gasram rifle that comes witha skeleton stock.

If you have a rifle, why not consider getting a custom stock made for it? a Paul Wilson or Gary Tawn (is that the right name?:D) would be able to sort you out a stock for your rifle for around £350 with a 6-10 week wait, but well worth it, as you really do see very few spriung rifles about with a nice bit of furniture on them now.

ROB :good:

yeah thats what i thought, im not really bothered if it makes any real difference cos its the looks i like,

i cant seem to get along with pcp's and in my oppinion the profile is the nicest looking gun in the world.

i dont have a gun at the moment but the cash is waiting for when i find a fenman profile, i wont even consider any other rifle, i think it comes down to my boyhood dreams of owning one but theoben discontinued them before i'd saved up the cash so i had to get a normal fenman and that was the best gun ive owned, since then ive had a rapid 7 and a falcon raptor but i really prefer the gasram system and regret ever selling it, i wont make that mistake when i get a fenman profile

Hi,

I have just bought a Fenman HE Gas ram for £320. It came with an AGS Tru Hunter 3-9x50 scope, laser site, fleece lined case, full instructions, (even the box it was mailed in) and a 1,000,000 candle power lamp, (not gun mountable). The rifle is in immaculate condition and I mean immaculate.

I picked it up two days ago and as yet have not had been able to shoot it yet! It's killing me, like being a kid with a spanking new Scalextric set and being hit by a power cut!

I'm hoping this rifle lives up to my expectations. You seem to praise it a lot, do you know of any websites that have recommendations for servicing or lubrication etc? There are some basic guide lines in the instructions but more info is always welcome.

Try www.freeAds.net as that is where I found mine for sale. I was so lucky as the guy who I bought it from kept it for me for six weeks until I raised the cash.

I think it is the normal stock i.e. it looks like the run of the mill Theoben and does not have any bits cut out. Would love to own a thumbhole stock one day as I think they look great.

Hope you have luck on free ads.

All the best,

Karl.
