Hi all following on from the success we had at Ragley we have decided to put on a Sim Bird training day over here at Heswall on Wirral. The day should compromise of a few goes on the Pheasant drive simulator which includes 12 to 15 dummies fired out with the sounds of a real shoot and pheasants etc stirring things up for the dogs. Also on the same ground is water for some wet retrieval training ,a small cops for into thick and a small cover crop . Its a very compact ground but this should work well for a small group . Map working gundogs are on hand to help with any training issues that you want to deal with . I think this should be a great intro to a real shoot situation for any novice dogs and also any further advanced dogs may benefit to.The training will touch on the more active work ,retrieves, jumps water work, obviously picking up and walked up drive sim if we can. , so its not intended to be Lab bias ,any dog is welcome.

Places are going to be limited to 10 to 12 dogs and the intention is to run the Sim on a 4 dog basis so its all kept close and personal . The Sim is intended to test your dogs so faults are welcome ...no point bringing a faultless dog anyway

Prices...putting the first few on at £30 a handler ..bring your own lunch ,parking is good expect the day to last around 5 to 6 hours ,start about 10am finish around 3pm +.Day is subject to places being taken and date is expected to be on a Sunday in October 2011(to be finalised )
