I have a 32" Zoli Z sport. Awesome gun, I've had the stock adjusted to fit and it also had the BHB system fitted.
  2. A club FAC is free. This relates to Home office approval which is currently £84.
  3. But CZ uk get all their supplies from Edgar Brothers. EB are the importers, CZ UK is just a dealer.
  4. Edgar Brothers get a Hornady shipment every month. The only calibre in short supply coming in is .17hmr.
  5. Is it a Nowell or Rogers made Knife? (Name will be on the blade )
  6. Not quite - there are different models within each range - this for example http://shootingsports.edgarbrothers.com/pages/Game-Gun-Lux.aspx has the fixed and multi choke options but they are all on the same action (Which are all CNC made from one solid block) The "special game" is on a different action block http://shootingsports.edgarbrothers.com/pages/Special-Game-.aspx The full UK range http://shootingsports.edgarbrothers.com/pages/Game-Guns.aspx Plus now there are the round bodied pernice too :-) If you need to know more, drop me a PM with your number.
  7. I have been out to the factory and shoot a custom Z-sport. Superb guns. You can get the Game in a fixed choke version. A lot of gun for not a lot of money for the game gun. No the actions are not the same on each model, although all built on the same machines.
  8. The drop of a 7.62 between 400-600 is only about 6 moa.
  9. Back in about 2013 ATK lost the use of the Radford Army munitions plant - although they still had a 5 year contract to make Military ammo - once this contract is up - they are homeless and will more than likely be sold to either BAE or Lake City - or even AN Other. Until such time we are not going to see any Alliant powder commercially available in the US, UK or anywhere - in fact we may never see Alliant powder again as we know it!
  10. Hatsan UK has nothing to do with HATSAN-he is a just a dealer - he is the same guy behind CZ UK,, Marlin UK etc etc he has just bought the domain names. My money would be in believing what the importer says and not someone who is just trying to sell a grey imported stock. If you fit the stock to a semi or a pump and its overall length is less than 40" then it is illegal.
  11. No you can't shoot the .50bmg at Bisley - but we do shoot them plenty of other places. I have 3. I am also secretary of the FCSA www.fcsa.co.uk Plenty of folk on here have and still do shoot with us.
  12. Diggle IS the landowner - the PSSA OWNS Diggle ranges AND the land,
  13. You will need a hunting licence, generally firearms and ammo can be hired locally. I took my own rifle with me but some of the group had rifles provided for them by the host. Quite a few UK companies run trips to Germany and a look on their websites should show that rifles/ammo can be hired/borrowed once in Germany. So that should hopefully answer your question for you.
  14. Were you a member of BASC at the time of the first revocation? The second one? Why did you not seek their advice before funding your first court case yourself?
  15. Even CCI themselves say they should only be used for heavy loads and then with BALL powder http://www.cci-ammunition.com/products/primers/primer_chart.htm
  16. I simply pointed out that you cannot just rock up and shoot - not difficult to understand is it? If you take the time to read their website or ring them, you will find that you will have to shoot whatever discipline/range is going on that day - so as an example if they are shooting 900 F class and 300 Benchrest that day -those are the distances you will have to shoot. You will not be able to turn up and shoot at whatever distances suits you, it is not like a clay range. Oh and as for the delay in my reply - some of us have lives and don't live on a computer and some of us actually go shooting as opposed to talking about it.
  17. i would suggest a lesson and at the same time have the gun fit checked by the instructor - if there are any minor kinks, best to iron them out now before they come ingrained. Mike
  18. You cannot just rock up and shoot at Diggle.
  19. How could you have got the price if you have not spoken to your local dealer yet?
  20. Dougy. I still think you are missing the point. We book over 60 days on MOD ranges a year. From gallery ranges out to 600 yards suitable for all calibres to FFA'S out to 3000+. All the ranges are suitable for his 30.06 and there will be targets at all bookings in excess of his required 200 yards. As a club we cater for all calibres not just 50bmg. His nearest bookings we use would be Sennybridge (we book 4 ranges here depending on availability from the 350 yard pure ETR range, 1000 metre gallery range to FFA'S ) and Kingsbury in the Midlands which is a 600m gallery range. We shoot there most Tuesday evenings during the summer and a couple of Sundays a month too. So we have plenty of ranges available that would suit his needs. Mike
  21. I think you miss-understood Dougy - so the only plonker is you - we shoot out to 3500yds which is further than the capability of his 30:06. Incidentally so far this year we have had over 40 bookings on MOD ranges, we have lost 4 days to cancellations so far. (2 at Warcop , 1 at Warminster and 1 at Lydd - none at Sennybridge) Mike
  22. www.fcsa.co.uk We shoot out to 3500yds - bit further than your 30:06. We have range bookings most weekends somewhere in the country - we also shoot midweek too. Mike
  23. Saddler. I can point you towards a source local to you. Mike
