stoggieman
Hi There If it is petrol it could be the auto choke sticking. Try a quick blip on the accelerator to diss engage it . Peter

stoggieman
When did it last have it,s fuel filter changed? Also check the fuel tank sender unit it may have a small hole in the supply pipe I had the same problem with a shogun and it was the supply pipe. I sheathed it with alkathene pipe and it was no more trouble. Peter

88b
Are you saying it does rev up eventually but it can take up to a few minutes ? once it has built up revs will it work as it should every time ? There is probably a sensor on the throttle pedal which then tell the pump to inject more fuel via the ECM. Transit connects uffer with this sensor failing. If there is a problem there is usually a warning light possibly the glow plug lamp on or flashing.
kev 1
Yes it dose rev up eventualy, last time was about 20-25 minutes, it seems worse when fuel is low.. No warning light comes on though. His mate is a mechanic and had it on his tester and all it showed was crank and another sensor{camshaft} out of sinc but these have been replaced to no better...
