Anyone made green tomato chutney before? i,ve got loads of green toms and i dont like to throw them out, so thought i,d try and make something out of them,........or should i say the other half is going to give it a try

cook em up as per normal tom chut mate,or make a spicy fruit one-sultanas,currants,onions,marrow/courgettes toms ground pine nuts ,drop water ,sugar and all spice, cook till pulpy and you can run a wooden spoon through mix and it separates from pan,add splash of red wine vinegar and bottle when hot in jam jars with plastic covering inside(to stop vinegar reacting with metal),keeps for bout 3 months :good: :good:
