gamekeeper1960
Hi there Dave, may I ask why you are asking? C-B The only reason was I asking was I looking an exact same combination in their last sale and wondering wether to register with them or not and wondered if you were if you could tell me if it was worth it or not. Sorry for the delay in answering you but I've been a way shooting the weekend .cheers Dave.
Coney Basher
Holts always have a lot of quality stuff in their sales, so it's always worth registering with them. That particular rifle did in fact come from Holts but the problem when buying at auction is that you always take a risk on buying a lemon. In this case though, the rifle is in very good condition and comes with a good scope so is a bargain at that price. Hope you had a good weekends shoot, I'm off to Bisley this weekend to do the arms fair. C - B

C - B Cheers C-B, for your frank reply and I'll keep in mind every thing you said and I agree you never know 100% what you're going to get from a auction but thanks for your help. Lets hope in their next auction i might get a bargain as good as the one you've got there. Cheers Dave . Ps hope you have a great fair .
