Guest flightline
Airgun threat lifted Months of hard work by BASC and the British Shooting Sports Council paid off on June 13 when the Home Secretary, David Blunkett, put forward an amendment to his Anti-Social Behaviour Bill. The amendment will allow teenagers, aged between 14 and 17, to shoot airguns on private land, where they have permission, without supervision. This is an important step forward and we urge you to send your letters of thanks to David Blunkett MP, House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA. This is taken from my local BASC email newsletter. I don`t know about writing to thank Blunkett though-the ban on young people`s legitimate use of airguns should not have been proposed in the first place! Guest flightline
There is apparently still an issue on how a legit young shooter gets his gun to the shooting in the first place, but BASC is working on it. This is now where letters could help.
