Gun Watch
Savage Arms model 10 fp-sp left handed £800 .308 Rifle Private Seller Used - Excellent Condition tidworth, Hampshire Bolt Action Description savage m10 FP-SR .308 law inforcement series rifle please note: the bipod is not in the sale, The history of the rifle is simple i got it with a view to using it for a bit of stalking and some range work, but with a pending cevical spine disc replacement x 3 op in November i will not be able to do any range work from a prone possition, until the middle of next year. now the good news. this rifle had fired only 14 rounds until last night when i stuck my zeiss 6.5/20 x50 rapid Z on it and run 20 more rounds down it (so 34 rounds fired) and i was happy with the group i got before the mist closed in on the target board.the 5 shot group size is just over 20mm @ 100 yards. (i have one hole shot this with nico 243 from this forum to back it up) PLEASE NOTE. the rifle was shot in by me so the total shot count is around 50 to 60 shots total including the above shots. PLEASE NOTE: this is a LEFT handed/left ported rifle. law inforcment series. model 10 FP-SR internal box mag 4 + 1 chambered round 22" matte black vamint barrel and action( i thinks this is a special one as im sure the barrel is 24",) will check it later synthetic stock. with double front sling/bi-pod studs and one rear stud.the barrel is fully floated. 1-10 twist carbon steel barrel with recessed crown ( barrel is NOT threaded for a moderator) .308 Win calibre with the accutrigger fitted (this has got to be the best trigger i have used, if you don't pull correctly it does not fire the round and you get a red face infront of your friends ) overall length is 45.2" short action with weaver bases fitted. 30mm Tactical scope rings with scope guard inlay (soft lining inside the rings) tactical bolt knob fitted at the factory,(not the best job i have seen but it works) 8.2 lbs unscoped and empty box mag. and i found it a pleasure to shoot.
