Hi ,just posted a similar thread in the welcome section but thought i would try hear aswell.

been a few years since i last shot and decided to scare a few clays last weekend .worst i have ever shot but realised how much i used to enjoy it!! so have decided to get back into it again ,even bought a new gun to get used to.now i did used to go to a few good clay shoots on a sunday morning in hampshire but not sure if they are still going as i have just been reading a past thread and see the hensting lane shoot is no longer (shame really liked that one) .also there looks to be a few pay and play sites popped up around to shoot through the week would really like to know which ones to visit or swerve .also see my local gun shop in Botley village is now closed (not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing as he was hard work!and i would only use it if i was desperate for shells)but not sure where to get the best deal on shells locally to southampton now .Any help /pointers or even a local club to join would be much appreciated.

Welcome. Southampton's really in the middle of nowhere for clay shooting. Ammunition: SCATS Romsey, Winchester or Wickham, phone first, or gunshops Portsmouth, Ringwood, Salisbury or Chichester. Clay shoots, be prepared to travel: mid week Stockbridge or Longparish, Sundays Ringwood, Romsey and Petersfield once monthly, Alresford, Winchester and Fareham once fortnightly. If you find any others please let me know! PM me if you want any more info.
