Ive been lucky enough this week to get a 5 month old springer. The pup has had a fairly rough time and was given up by its owner after the breeder heard about its plight. Now it has never been in a kennel apart from being born, this leads me to ask this question as Ive also been lucky enough to be given a spare kennel to house him in as my wife's lab bitch is 9 months old and I just dont want to run the risk of missing her 1st break-down, and then there is the house pet a bitch Springador. Has anybody had experiance of kenneling an older pup thats been used to a house? And does anybody have any tips? A young pup is no bother and it normally settles down after a day or 2 but Ive never had to try and kennel an older pup thats the reason for me asking.

cheers
