kevsiguana09
been thinking about spending a few quid on the springer my 2 choices are either try and find a gun smith who is quite local and see if he can tune it a bit to get rid of the twang and smooth it down a bit it dosent make a lot of shooting noise ive put a hw silencer on it its just the mecanical parts the power is good its sitting at 11.3ft lbs or my other option is to fit a gas ram myself ive heard they can be a bit of a pain to fit iam not daft but neither are the people i have spoken to about doing this. any body know of any good gun smiths around the north east area? durbsguy
If I remember correctly V Mach does a tuning kit for lightening which should get rid of the twang you talking about.
bigstancwsw
Avoid the gas ram option. I had one in my Lightening and it made it awful to shoot. I got a tuneing set from Bonnie and Clyde it was so smooth you could see the pellet fly like a PCP.
