2 Guns for Vermin shooting wanted Nottingham/Derby

Hi all

 

Thanks for taking the time to read this

 

I have been living in Nott’s for the past 7 years and we are having trouble getting anywhere to shoot on a regular basis.

 

Ideally were looking for somewhere to go vermin, pigeon and rabbit mainly but can manage deer if needed,

we have shotguns and Firearms from .17Hmr, 22LR, .243 and 7x57mm and DSC level 1 (Deer Stalking) so we are very keen shooters and we will take on more or less anything.

 

I have been shooting for over 20 years and was a gamekeeper when I left school, I have a mate who has taken shooting up in the last couple of years and we are keen to get in the fields again no matter what the weather

 

I’m sitting here now pulling my hair out because when I lived in Norfolk I had 3,000 acres to shoot on, bit of a long way to go for a day out...

 

Please could someone help before I go bald!!

 

I am from an agricultural back ground so if any farmers/land owners need a hand on the farm that won’t be a problem and if there is any one that needs a hand in property development/Landscaping I used to run my own business a few years ago so please give me a shout.

 

Were looking for some where roughly within an hour’s radius of Nottingham/Derby

 

Finally we have full BASC insurance and copies of all our details will be given to the land owner

Good luck with your search, since moving to Nottingham I've come to the conclusion that any shooting permissions are very very few and far between and this area seems to be heavily over populated with shooters lol !

good luck with your search permissions roundabouts closely kept ,ive heard no from several farms or its private shooting,a good man on the forum is sorting me out when game season ends.there are people who take others out and theres some people do it for a small fee,lee-kinsman does it and fenny over cambridge way is often taking 3 peeps with him .keep watching youl get some in :good:
