HDAV
Just been reading about Glasgow 2014 it seems the shooting will take place on an MOD range using temporary set ups! Barry Buddon Shooting Centre Barry Buddon near Carnoustie in Angus on the East Coast of Scotland, will host events in all Shooting disciplines for Glasgow 2014 competition. Owned by the Ministry of Defence, Barry Buddon has a well-established full bore firing range that was used in the Edinburgh 1986 Commonwealth Games. The venue, with the addition of international standard temporary ranges, will provide the opportunity for spectators to experience and witness all competition formats of the sport of Shooting on the one site. I wonder if they'll use the same kit as 2012? Seems another great shame even more than 2012 as the south east at least has Bisley. IS Barry Buddon open to the public ala Bisley? Or a purely MOD range?
Blunderbust
Barry Buddon is a Military range only, although I have my ticket for doing the pest control. The camp commandant is a friend.
