steved
Had a reccie on some land yesterday and looks like there is a flight line over the fields. But the fields available for shooting are all grass/fallow, no crop stubble etc. This will be my first attempt at decoying. Will they come into grass fields? (assuming i can get it right) is it worth it? There is a small copse where i am hoping to set a hide. Any tips? Cheers Steve
Harnser
The main thing you are looking for when out pigeon shooting is a strong flight line and /or a crop that the pigeons want to feed on . If you have the flight line and it is grass or set aside give it ago . Pigeons are pretty greedy things and can be persuaded to drop to decoys if they think there is a feed on the field . Give it a try . Harnser .
