ok this may seem like a strange question but i have a bolt action 410 with a add on silencer. with out the silencer fitted i can use the gun well hit 90% of what i aim at with the silencer fited iv hit 0% of what iv aimed at as i end up shooting low of the silencer lol i was thinking about fitting either a laser pointer to the gun or a laser dot sight iv found in my box of tricks a barrel clamp with two 20mm waver rails on i beleive (might be wrong)so mounting them isnt the problem. i know alot of people will say aim high but i end up blocking my targets out. mainly going to be used for lamping or winter time andi need the mod on because one of my shoots is a horse farm

what you need to do is shoot a pattern plate for a while.

sometimes when a gun is altered (ie silencer on shotgun) it can ruin the way it is pointed or aimed.

this is because the dimentions and the rib and the angle of barrel is interfeared with. it will cause the gun to shoot all over the place.

if you changed your point of aim to hit something it is wrong, you arte trying to fit arround the gun, what you should do is alter the gun in a non permenent way to hit what you aim at.

when i bought my first sxs, it was great, but the poi was well high, and i mean high. a added 1.5" of pull (there is no point mesuring the forearm for this.) then the poi gradually dropped with every 1/4".

you need to do all this and shoot a pattern plate.

or, chuck a red dot on it.
