Drayman Posted January 27, 2012 Report Share Posted January 27, 2012 We had a 2.5TD before our 2.8TD. for pulling the horse box. 2.5 struggled on any hills. There are plenty o 2.8's about but there is a better than even chance you'll have to do a head on it at some point, which is a grand or more. A 2.8TD at >100K miles could well be in for a head in the next 20K. Some do, some don't but I'd suggest you look on the Pajero owners website http://www.pocuk.com/ - really helpful crowd.
