39TDS
I have decided I want a WMR, will be used mostly for rabbits, possibly hares and the occasional fox (provided short range). I already have 2 .22lr rifles so will I have to lose one of them or can I have it in addition? I have plenty of land that I own and farm so I do have legitimate reason for one. I did have .222 on my licence at one time but never actually bought one because at the time I couldn't afford one and eventually didn't renew it. So land is passed for centre fire (including .308). I'm starting to ramble now (again) so what do you reckon, one for one or plus WMR? (I don't really want to get rid of either .22lr and don't want a centre fire) And what do I ask for in order that I can legally shoot fox with it. bedwards1966
Ask for it, either they say yes or no. You could ring your FEO (I would) before putting in the variation and see what he says, he should know best for your area. Just putting pest control and foxes control should be enough on the application, but again your FEO is probably the best person to ask.
