Elliot Brown
is it possible to get an a-clamp style bottle of 300 bar rather than 232bar, because i have not yet found an a-clamp with gauge of over 232. would i be better off with a din fitting bottle rather than an a-clamp if so can you get a din fitting to screw on an a-clamp bottle? thanks for you help

plexer
You will need a din fitting for 300bar a lot of bottles that use an a-clamp fitting actually have an insert screwed into their din thread to convert them, you just unscrew it with an allen wrench. A 300 bar fitting will go into a 232bar bottle but a 232 bar fitting won't seal in a 300 bar bottle as it's too short which is how they are designed to prevent accidents.
