webber
I don't know about "best" as in my book what ever works on the day is best; but you should get results with either eggs (break one) or rabbit, whole, gut, head only. If you intend to use the captured bird as a call bird I would suggest feeding dried dog food, it will be readily consumed and won't attract flies. Its a bit cold at the moment for call birds, but there's no harm in getting ready. webber
Taffyshooter
At this time of year eggs are a big attraction for crows - rabbit guts are always a winner. Some lads swear by roadkill if your not too fussy about getting some;)
paddywack12
Never had much luck with crows in a larsen, but to get the 1st one in a ladder trap I make a nest and use bantams eggs. To get my 1st magpie in a larsen I use white bread
