This is how to fill a bottle with an air pump...

How to use a hand pump properly!

Now the tip is you do not fill it from empty and shoot till empty, you pump it up after every trip! That way cardiac avoidance! Now if you go on a real range hammering 100 shot plus per trip week you will want a bottle.

You can pick up secondhand bottles up for about the same price as secondhand pumps, now you have to be careful with our mutual friend the Super 10 (I have the Bull Barrel Carbine .177), it runs at 232 bar, any bottle that is under 300 bar pressure will be useless at filling it up as you will never top it up to the maximum after the first time! So you need to be careful and get a 300 bar bottle.

i thought i may open a can of worms obviously the people with pumps like them and those with bottles rate them, what about the filling adapter ,maybe i should explain more i will probably only be using it once / twice a month for say 20-50 shots at a time ,more of a chance to escape for a few hours when the outlaws come to visit

yeah i have a bittle but th eonly time i ever use a bottle and its a 7litre is when am out in the field on a massive shooting trip because it is hard to pump a gun up on uneven soggy mud :) but yeah a pump is seriously no hastle at all if you pump it bend your knees and is real easy and not tiring at al but if you do it like stright up and stright down with out bending your knees your gonna be ****e* after 2 pumps but i pumped my rpaid up 500cc bottle bigger than a "logun one! i can fill it in 5 mins and be slighly out of breath because i jsut woke up had a cup of tea and then filled it because i forgot to fill it the night before but to be honest it comes down to physical strength and lazyness fair enough if your old it is a physical task but middle aged men shouldnt have no bother at all..it actualy is the same debate over guns in a way all i hear is people twisting and winging oh that gun is to heavy put a stap on it then if its that heavy but to me the heavier the gun the more i can keep it steady all in all it comes down to lazyness but yeah if you are only using it a few times a pumps ideal and very compacy my divers bottle is a heavy and clumbsy
