Logun Solo

Just managed to get a second hand (perfect condition) Logun Solo from a chap over at the BBS. Only gave £160 and it includes -

Logun Solo (Officialy certified and test a month back by Logun)

Logun Barrel Band

Pellet loading tray

QD Studs and RWS sling

Pump charging adapter

All documents and instructions

So that left me in need of a pump and scope. Got a scope ready to use here from my TX200HC - AGS Sapphire 3-9x40 - should do the job nicely.

Got the pump for £80 from a chap on the BBS too. Its the Logun one so it should go nicely with the gun.

What do you think guys?

They are very nice in shooting...

the only thing that might... (i do me might ) annoy you slightly is when you fire you get a " ping " sound... or when loaded... if you move the rifle up and down.. ie barrel up in the air then pointing to the floor etc.. you will hear a slight clink clink sound..... found this with every solo i fired... but its a great one and a nice budget rifle.

One of our lads couldnt fault it......till after that........

Think logun are now selling a "add on" figure 8 clamp for the barrel..........

Nice that...........they find a fault then charge you for it..............bit like the S16.............mark 1.......mark 2..........shrouded...........blah blah......

Shoud we mention the eagle..............

I am fed up with Logun/AGS and now they own webley... AHHHHH

They are useless as a company and unreliable etc... I have been waiting 6 months for a upgrade from the pcr1 to a solo...

I already bought a solo....

my friends solo barrel bent..... they replaced it but took him 5 months to get... they are daft..... i have the pcr1 which is ok but you have to remember so many things... before and after shooting....

I just dont like them anymore..... so i cant wait to get my rimmy.

Taken from the Logun/AGS website -

New Solo Accessories - Barrel Clamp and Manual Rotary Magazine

To further enhance the appeal of the award winning Logun Solo two new accessories have been developed. Firstly a barrel support for competitive shooters and hunters who may feel the unsupported barrel is in danger of being knocked and misaligned, leading to inaccuracy and the need for re-zeroing. In test this is rarely the case but it will give peace of mind to serious shooters. The clamp will retrofit to any Solo model. Recommended retail price £14.99

Secondly a 10 shot .22 retro fit manual rotary magazine. This is fitted in seconds, simply remove the pellet trough, slide the magazine in, tighten the plastic tipped screws (to protect the finish of your solo's breach) and away you go. Versatile, easy to fit suitable for all solo .22 models, .177 version coming very soon, recommended retail price £29.99

Mine comes with the barrel band/clamp and I will definately get the 10 Shot conversion for £30. :good:

I've just put the fig 8 barrel clamp on my solo and the grouping from a bench is the same as before. However, it has prevented the barrel from 'dinging' audibly against the air reservoir when your trying to stalk twitchy bunnies.

i've ordered the 10 shot magazine so i'll post a verdict on that once it's tried & tested.
