Calibre
Hello Guys, (first post here ) Guns like the AA S200, AA S410 and Logun Solo are a PCP Rifles, other than things like multishot, generally, if you have a decent scope that is well zeroed, the guns should all shoot accurately and with some good power. I assume the extra money, put into an S410 over an S200 is down to the build quality, it wouldnt mean that it was technically any better out in the field? Thanks, Calibre
Theskyfox
"its not the calibre of the gun your using, its the calibre of the man behind it". With airguns theyre all the same power basically unless youve got a FAC(up to 12ftlbs). Cheap airguns are gonna give cheap performance, but once you start spending £200 + then the only real difference is the cylinder capacities, magazine capacities and ergonomics (aka how easy it is made for you to be able to hit the target). Thats basically it. It depends thereafter on the person using it and their experience. -Andrew

Thanks, Calibre you've got the idea to get a decent rifle, you should be looking to spend at least £200 new, but you can also get some very good deals second-hand spending more money on a gun is not neccessary, but you may wish for example, to buy a new stock to suit your needs. you should also consider what you spend on other items, such as a scope & mounts (mounts do vary in quality as do scopes, but you can still get some good cheap scopes. i have an 'ags' 3-9X40 which cost about £45 & is very comparable to a 'simmons whitetail' which cost over £100!) silencers also vary in quality, i would recommend a weihrauch at £45, but some that come as part of the gun package are also very good also, consider whether you really need a multi-shot as this will greatly increase the cost have a good read through the posts on this forum, you will gain some invaluable advice & reccomendations
