tazkb
It's with great regret and a heavy heart that I am offering for sale my beloved Bel Canto CD1 and EVO 2i gen ll Amp. After 30 odd years messing with HiFi I genuinely believe that these are right up there with anything else at their price point and too some degree even better. they offer a very neutral sound and very "un digital" sound in my opinion and that's why I love them so much. They are both lightly used and in excellent condition, complete with remotes and the CD1 has the original box, the Evo amp doesn't but can be well packed for travelling if need be. I am only selling as my wife has left and I need the cash other wise I would definatly not sell them as I have not heard anything better without spending mega bucks. I would like £1050 for the CD1 and the same price for the Evo 2 or £1900 if bought together. I would like them to go together as they are a perfect match for each other. The CD1 new was £4500 and the amp around £2500 i think so these are a lot of kit for the money and have rave reviews on the net like here http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/2.../followup.html there is also a further upgrade path for the amp through a well known specialist hifi shop I would prefer collection so you can demo and see them working perfectly and i will include some good xlr balanced i/c cables as well thank you

For example, if you put your amp on there for £1000, expect people to come back and offer loads less - just because they do! So, id be tempted to list it for more than you want. Also, check if any others have sold on there. Because if someone foolishly decided to sell one 6 months back for say, £500, then thats all they will offer for yours. Rediculous I know! tazkb
tried an add on there as i'm a member it got pulled because you are not allowed to have an add ANYWHERE else except the AV forum ? how mad is that ? they will go on ebay next week unless i get an offer i am also willing to take some cheaper hifi in px if anyone would like to upgrade then this is seriously stunning kit with a new price of around £9.5k so what i'm asking is a serious bargain so if anyone want's to offer some other hifi plus some cash we can work out a very good deal i am also open to offers on the asking prices. I may also be willing to sell my Monitor Audio GS20 speakers £1799 new and just 5 months old in piano gloss silver, stunning flagship speakers, for £900 ono, again poss px for other speakers thanks
