rubythedog
Our day started at about 8;45 today! with the sun shineing and a nice little breez we set about our business. spring barly was on the menu! and with our spread looking as sweet as ever i had the feeling of a good day. be 9am the rotory was sorted and the scean was set! from this point on the woodys were loving our spread to bits. to my delight they were coming in fives and sixes, not only that but they were droping in from silly hights! by now me and me pal were like kids giggling and proding each other with excitement (as ya do) watching pigeons fold there wings right in so they can drop as fast as they can from what seemed miles up is such a top buzz to watch, in the end if we saw a gray dot in the distance all you herd was the click of the safety catch coz you new it was coming in! anyways to cut a great days long story short if one of us could actually shoot we'd a made a great bag but we called it a day at 2;45 with 76 picked. happy farmer, happy shooter, happy days
