hey up guys

basically ive got a permission to shoot in west yorkshire which ive been a few times and there is bunnies and woodies, seen a couple of hares aswell but really it is out in the open and not much to camo your self to so i am easily seen before i see them, but cant really afford a hide yet till pay day so was just wondering if anybody had a hide and maybe some decoys and ill be willing to let the right person come along to help us out.

All i ask in return is your insured and willing to let me shoot with you on your permission now and again

Thanks

ps air rifles only as its next to fishing ponds so farmer doesnt want shotguns

Personally I think you are wasting you time with a hide/decoys with airguns mate. If it's only air rifles you are better off just sat in a shaded spot/corner waiting till dusk or being out early morning. We tried to decoy pigeons/crows with decoys (and we did know what we were doing) and never really had any luck because as soon as you move albeit in a hide - they are gone...

Good luck though!

Have you considered using Rim fire? The 22 subs that I use are great and relatively quiet.

not got a licence for that mate i wanna get some more experience under my belt before i apply

Ok. Try using a few decoys and Mac D bags if you are near a town. It has worked well for me. As said above keep still and camo up in dpm if you can. Keep very still :good:

its in normanton mate

If you want to try it with a hide I've got a pop up one doing nowt and some deeks. Pointless going down the route of getting one of your own if it doesn't work. Drop me a pm I'm at Sharlston. Where do you shoot?

BTW I don't shoot air rifles but happy to come with you for a couple of hours and put another set of eyes on the place.
